The Wolverines retook the lead (3-2) when Brandon Kaleniecki scored on the power play at 10:40. The Buckeyes responded just 22 seconds later to tie the game at 3 at 11:02, when Schembri (Mississauga, Ontario) got to a loose puck in front of the net after Sauer stopped a Sean Collins (Jr., Troy, Mich.) shot, with Knapp (Rochester Hills, Mich.) picking up the second assist on the goal.
