Butler finished the game with threeassists and two turnovers. In his last nine, Butler has 39 assistswith just nine turnovers for a 4.3-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.Butler fouled out of the Saturday for the first time in his career.With 18 points and 16 rebounds, freshman Greg Oden collected histhird double-double of the season Saturday. His 16 total reboundsand eight offensive rebounds are both career highs and his 18points tied his career high. Freshman Daequan Cook scored acareer-high 23 points Saturday, shooting a career-best 80-percentfrom the field (8-for-10). Ohio State improves to 40-3 in Columbusunder head coach Thad Matta, which includes a 38-3 record in ValueCity Arena. For the 10th time in 13 games this season Ohio Stateshot 50 percent or better from the field (.571). The Buckeyes arenow 9-1 this season when they shoot at least 50 percent and 25-3under Matta. Ohio State is now 2-0 all-time against Coppin Stateand 11-0 against teams from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.The Buckeyes’ previous meeting with the Eagles was a 58-51 OhioState win Nov. 25, 2002 in Value City Arena.
