Big Ten Announces Fall Academic All-Conference Honorees – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten conference announced its fall term Academic All-Big Ten honorees Wednesday. Ohio State has 58 academic all-conference selections. The Buckeyes had a conference-record 260 total honorees last year, breaking the record of 250 Ohio State set in 2003-04. OSU had 249 selections in 2004-05.
In all, the Big Ten recognized 603 Academic All-Big Ten honorees during the 2005 fall academic term. The additional 58 honorees tally 2,188 selections over the last 12 seasons for Ohio State.
Eligible student-athletes must be letterwinners in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
