Deadline
Applications are due in the Ticket Office by 5pm on October 6, 2004.
Renewing Online
Faculty/Staff who ordered split or season basketball tickets last year may renew online at www.hangonsloopy.com.
New Season Ticket Holders
Faculty/Staff who have not ordered basketball season tickets in the past may pick up an application at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center or call 1-800-GO-BUCKS to request that an application be mailed. Applications will be available beginning September 20, 2004.
Seat Locations
Faculty/Staff may purchase a Full Season or either Split option package. Faculty/Staff seating allocations will consist of a combination of Entry Level (100 series) seats and Terrace Level seats (300 & 400 series). Seat locations are determined by the Faculty/Staff point system. A map of the arena may be found using our website: www.schottensteincenter.com. If the demand for the lower bowl tickets exceeds the supply available, additional seats are available in the Terrace Level of the building. If ticket order requests exceed the supply available, the Athletic Department reserves the right to change your full season ticket order to a split season ticket, change the split in which you ordered, or refund your order.
Priority
The Athletic Council has established a point system for Faculty/Staff ticket distribution and seating assignments. Regular Faculty points are awarded based on their title. Regular Staff members are awarded points based on their salary schedule. In addition, regular Faculty/Staff are awarded one point for each full year of university employment. This is the same Faculty/Staff point system used during the football season in Ohio Stadium. Seat locations change from year to year as the number of student and faculty/staff applicants increases or decreases. It is possible that you could sit in the entry level (100 series) one year, and the terrace level (300 & 400 series) the following year.
Groups
Group seating will be accommodated for 8 or less seats. Please submit your applications together and list the names of your group members on each application. Every attempt will be made to put your group together. Using the Faculty/Staff point system, seats will be allocated based on the Faculty/Staff member with the least number of points.
Special Handling
Faculty/Staff with permanent or temporary disabilities should briefly note any special needs or seating requirements (i.e., wheelchair access, low seating, vision impairment, etc) directly on the application. The Ticket Office will attempt to honor all requests for special seating based on availability.
Cost & Payment
The discounted rate for a Faculty/Staff Full Season ticket is $321.00. Split tickets will cost $148.00 each. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or personal check will be accepted as payment only if they match the name on the application. Payments made by third parties will be held at the Ticket Office for pick up. Faculty/Staff using the following forms of payment will be required to personally pick up and sign for their tickets at the Ticket Office with valid University photo identification: cash, bank/cashiers check or money order – no exceptions. Faculty/Staff may order two full season tickets (based on availability) or two split season tickets.
