Foot Injury Sidelines Sylvester 4-6 Weeks – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Jim O’Brien, Ohio State head men’s basketball coach, announced Tuesday sophomore forward Matt Sylvester (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller) will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a foot injury.
Sylvester injured his left foot Jan. 24 in a game at Iowa.
The injury is to his Plantar Fascia in the arch in his left foot. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Sylvester has played in 16 games this season. He has averaged 3.1 points and 1.4 rebounds in just over 10 minutes a game.
The Buckeyes are at home against No. 17 Wisconsin Wednesday. Tip off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
