Women’s soccer sophomore Danielle Dietrich fueled the Buckeye attack with two first half goals in Ohio State’s 2-1 win at No. 24 Purdue Sunday. The game marked Dietrich’s first two-goal match of her career and now gives her three scores on the season. Dietrich is the fourth Buckeye this season to score to goals in a match.
Women’s golfer Allison Hanna tied for first place at the 2003 Lady Northern Intercollegiate this past weekend at the Ohio State University Scarlet Golf Course. Hanna fired a three-round total of two-over-par, 218. She then was eliminated in the first hole of a two-hole playoff.
Sophomore linebacker A.J. Hawk led the Buckeye defense in the 20-0 win over Northwestern last week. Hawk’s career-high 13 tackles helped earn Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
