Women’s soccer forward Colleen Hoban netted two goals and assisted on two other scores as the Buckeyes (6-0-1, 0-0-1) remained unbeaten this weekend with a 1-1 draw vs. Iowa Friday and a 7-0 triumph over Youngstown State Sunday. On the season, Hoban leads the Buckeyes in scoring with 12 points on five goals and two assists.
Senior field hockey forward Vanessa Immordino (Sr.; Roseland, N.J.) was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 21. Immordino was just one point shy of her career game high of seven points, as she recorded six points (2 goals and 2 assists) in the SMS contest. Immordino recorded the Buckeyes’ only two goals in the Louisville game Sept. 20 and tallied an additional two goals in the Ohio contest, including the game winning overtime goal Sept. 16.
