Ohio State Synchronized Swimming Beats Florida, 30-22.5 – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State synchronized swimming team opened the 2003-04 season by beating (1-0) Florida, 30-22.5, today in Coral Springs, Fla. Sophomore Chelsea Luker (Montreal, Quebec/Antoine De St-Exupery/Montreal Synchro), freshman Ellen Hacker (Newark, Ohio/Newark/Columbus Coralinas ) and junior Mary Elliot (Harrison, Ohio/Williams Henry Harrison/Cincinnati Synchrogators) placed first in the “A”, “B” and “C” figures competitions, respectively.
The Buckeyes, who were 2003 National Champions, continue competition when they play host to Michigan and Keuka in the Varsity Pool at Larkins Hall Jan. 17, 2004.
