Columbus — Eastern Michigan swept the singles and doubles finals at the OSU/Prince Cup at the Stickney Tennis Center. In the final match of singles play, Eastern Michigan’s No. 5-8 seed Lisa D’Amelio defeated Notre Dame’s No. 3 seed Alicia Salas in a third-set super-tiebreaker. In the semifinals, Buckeyes Erica Fisk, the No. 2 seed, and No. 4 seed Sadhaf Pervez both split their first two sets before falling in a super-tiebreaker. Fisk was defeated by Salas and D’Amelio topped Pervez.
In doubles, the duo of Rebecca Hawkins and Lisa D’Amelio of Eastern Michigan, the No. 1 seed in the draw, defeated Judy Wang and Meghan Marton of Penn State, 8-4.
