COLUMBUS, Ohio-Ohio State Associate Athletics Director Richelle Simonson today announced the policy for obtaining tickets to the Buckeyes’ NCAA First-Round basketball game against Davidson, Thursday, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Ohio State students and faculty and staff may place an application for a lottery ticket at the Jerome Schottenstein Center Ticket Office, beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, or they may request a lottery number via the athletics.tix@osu.edu email address. Applicants should specify if they are students or faculty/staff. The names of all individuals who receive tickets will be posted Tuesday morning in the Jerome Schottenstein Center. Payment for the tickets must be received by 3 p.m. Tuesday. All tickets will be held for pick-up at the tournament site and must be picked up by the original applicant.
Tickets will not be available for season ticket holders and the general public through the athletic ticket office. Ohio State initial allotment of 450 tickets will be used for the players’ families, the official university travel party, the coaching staff and Ohio State students and faculty/staff as noted earlier.
Individuals who are not eligible to purchase tickets via the lottery should contact the tournament site to check ticket availability.
