Men’s Fencing Team Take Third at Duke Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s fencing team posted a third-place finish with a record of 3-2 at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. Friday. Notre Dame captured the team title (5-0) while Stanford finished second with a 4-1 record.
Colin Parker (Fr., Fayetteville, Ga./The Heritage School) led the men’s team with a 12-3 record in men’s saber.
Other top performers included Guy Loftin (So. Overland Park, Ks./Banstow) Alan Jones (So., Ft Leonard Wood, Mo./Waynesville) and Kitz Siebert (Fr., Lawrence, Ka.). Loftin and Siebert followed Parker, posting 9-6 records in men’s saber. Jones finished with a record of 9-6 in men’s epee.
