Buckeye Victory At OSU College Association Meet – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State synchronized swimming team took first place at home today with the score of 110. The Buckeyes played host to the OSU College Association Meet and defeated Walsh (81.5), Miami (70), Michigan (40), William and Mary (37) and Stanford (20). Ohio State is the defending national champion and is undefeated in the 2000-01 season this far with a season record of 8-0.
Victoria Bowen (So., Plano, Texas) finished on top for the Buckeyes in the solo scoring 94.33. Twin sisters, Carolina Moraes (Jr., Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Isabela Moraes (Jr., Sao Paulo, Brazil) nabbed first place in the duet, scoring 96.467. Ohio State also took second place in the duet with Katie Edwards (Sr., Greer, S.C.) and Kristen Price (Jr., Mesa, Ariz.), scoring 91.200. The Moraes twins nabbed another first place win in the trio with Mary Hofer (Jr., Spring Valley, Calif.).
The Buckeyes will next compete away in Richmond, Va. against the University of Richmond and Wheaton College.
