Brian Brown, a senior from Brooklyn, is a co-captain on this year’s team following his junior season when he was recognized by both the Big Ten coaches and media for his efforts. The media selected Brown to the All-Big Ten Third Team while the coaches added him to their honorable mention list last season. Brown scored in double figures in 27-of-31 games, including 19 of last 21.
In this year’s season opener, Brown led Ohio State in scoring (15 points) and assists (6). He also grabbed three rebounds and had no turnovers in 33 minutes in the Buckeyes 78-54 win over Winthrop.
