%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio-In the final exhibition game of the season, the Ohio State men’s basketball team posted a 102-86 win over Nike Elite Tuesday at the Value City Arena.%^$
%^$Five Buckeyes posted double figures offensively with seniors Brian Brown and Boban Savovic along with junior Brent Darby scoring 15 points apiece. Senior Will Dudley scored 12 with junior Sean Connolly adding 10 points.%^$
%^$The three-guard offense was clicking for the Buckeyes from the start. Of the 43 made Buckeye baskets in the game, 29 were the result of an assist with Darby leading the way with seven helpers. Brown, who tied Dudley for the team lead in rebounds with seven, added six assists with Savovic dishing out five.%^$
%^$Ohio State shot 55.1 percent (43-78) from the field and 36 percent (9-25) from 3-point range. Darby hit 3-of-4 long-range shots while Savovic connected on 3-of-6 treys.%^$
%^$The advantage was in favor of OSU in the rebounding department. The Buckeyes owned a 45-23 advantage over Nike Elite, who were 3-5 coming into the game after wins over Penn State and Michigan.%^$
%^$The Buckeyes begin the season at 5 p.m. Sunday in Value City Arena against Winthrop. The Eagles played in the NCAA tournament for the third-consecutive season a year ago, falling to Northwestern State in the first NCAA play-in game.
