OSU 48-40 in Big Ten openers, 56-32 in home conference openers
Ohio State is in its 89th season as a member of the Big Ten Conference. The Buckeyes are 48-40 all-time in league openers. OSU has begun the conference season at home 52 times (33-19) and on the road 36 times (15-21). Overall, Ohio State has a record of 56-32 in home league openers.
Ohio State owns win streak over Northwestern
The Buckeyes have won the last three meetings with Northwestern and seven of the last nine contests. In Columbus, Ohio State has a 21-game win streak over the Wildcats. The last NU win in Columbus came Feb. 24, 1977 when Northwestern prevailed 83-72. The Buckeyes are 58-14 at home vs. NU.
