Recap| Box Score| Notes
Ohio State head coach Jim O’Brien
“This game came at a good point in our season. We didn’t have to play some guys all 40 minutes. We have progressed well throughout the season.
“The biggest problem we had early was our sloppy ballhandling. We had too many turnovers.
“It always good to make shots against a strong zone defense. The past four or five games, we have shot the ball well.
(On Zach Williams) “Zach is always active. He knows where the gaps in the defense are and takes advantage of them.
(On Ken Johnson) “Ken got frustrated offensively, but he was active and was able to change the game defensively by getting some early blocks.”
Ken Johnson
(On blocking performance) “I’m not looking to get blocks. I am just out there trying to make everyone better. It is all a matter of going out there with the right attitude and being focused.
(Thinking about Kansas) “We weren’t. We were taking this game one at a time. We will have to go out and have a hard practice tomorrow and get ready for them on Saturday.
(On playing Robert Morris) “We are trying to get every single win. Now that we won, we have to focus on Kansas.”
Brent Darby
(On Ken Johnson) “He was just doing a great job for us. It all started with Ken tonight.
(On playing Robert Morris) “We just wanted to go out and execute our plays tonight and to do our best to execute all game. We were trying to get ready for our next game. (On Kansas) “Kansas will be a big game for us. I am excited and I’m looking forward to playing them. We will have to come and play and play them tough to win. This will be a good test for us to see how we have progressed from our first game and our first loss.”
Zach Williams
(On Kansas) “Kansas will be a big challenge for us. We’re coming off good wins over St. John’s and UMass, so we have a lot of momentum going into the Kansas game. The Kansas game will be all about defense.”
Robert Morris head coach Danny Nee
“Ohio State is a solid team. Ken Johnson had a real effect on our team. He created the climate around the basket and set the tone for the rest of the game.
“I think they shot well. We couldn’t make shots or plays. I credit that to their good defense.
“I thought that with Jackson in the lineup, we would be a little more poised. But 25 turnovers was unfortunate.”
