Fencing Competes in Penn State Open – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State fencing team competed at the Penn State Open Nov. 11 and 12 in State College Pa. Amanda Nelson (Fr., Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln) placed fourth in women’s sabre while Kitz Siebert (Fr., Lawrence, Kansas) finished ninth in men’s sabre. Fane Groes (Jr., Copenhagen, Denmark/ Vordingborg) posted a fourth -place finish in women’s foil.%^$
%^$Other top Buckeye finishers include Spencer Jones (Fr., Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo/ Waynesville) who placed 13th in men’s sabre and Nathan Weir who finished 21st.in men’s foil. Sara Bowen (Sr. Trenton, Ohio/ Edgewood) finished 13th in women’s sabre.
