Women’s Rowing Closes its Fall Season with Rivanna Romp – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio State women’s rowing team competed in the Rivanna Romp regatta hosted by the University of Virginia, Sunday, Nov. 12. Virginia took three out of four events.
Ohio State took a second-place finish in the women’s eight head race with a time of 13:46.6. The Buckeyes took a third-place finish in the novice eight head race with a time of 15:26.4. OSU `A’ squad finished out the regatta with another third place finish in the varsity four event with a time of 15:13.7, while the `B’ crew took sixth.
The Buckeyes closed out their fall season with the regatta. Ohio State will begin their regular schedule March 24, 2001, with a dual race between Virginia and North Carolina in Charlottesville, Va.
