Fencers Struggle at Duke Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State men’s fencing team struggled on Friday against formidable competition at the Duke Fencing Invitational, winning one of their five matches.
The Buckeyes (13-7) defeated North Carolina, but then fell to Duke, Notre Dame, Air Force and Rutgers.
The women’s team jumps into action Saturday at 10 a.m. with matches against Duke, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Air Force and North Carolina.
The Buckeye fencers return to action Feb. 12-15 at the Junior Olympics.
