Women’s Hockey Loses To Northeastern In Season Opener, 6-0 – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s ice hockey team lost to No. 6 ranked Northeastern, 6-0, tonight at the OSU Ice Arena in its inaugural season opener.
Northeastern jumped on the board early with a Brooke Whitney goal at 3:38 in the first period. Hilary Witt led the offensive attack for the Huskies, notching two goals while adding three assists. OSU goalie Melissa Glaser (Fr., Rockford, Ill.) notched 51 saves for the game. The Buckeyes face Northeastern again tomorrow night at the OSU Ice Arena at 7 p.m.
