Men’s Tennis Loses to Michigan State – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$COLUMBUS, Oh. -Tonight, the Buckeyes were unable to capture their first Big Ten victory, falling to Michigan State (5-2) at home. The Spartans took the double’s point with a sweep of the three matches. Bob Wellstein (Fr., Perrysburg, Ohio) and Derek DeFalco (Fr., Maumee, Ohio)were defeated by MSU’s team of Primorac and Trinindad (9-7), which ended the Wellstein/DeFalco’s five-game winning streak at the No.3 spot.%^$
%^$In singles, Chris Porter (Fr., Canton, Ohio) defeated Trey Eubanks in a three-set match (6-7, 6-4, 6-4) and Scott Wiles (Sr., Massillon, Ohio) dominated Ivica Primorac (6-4, 6-2) at the No. 2 position.%^$
%^$Ohio State will meet Michigan tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. at the Racquet Club of Columbus. %^$
