SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Double-figure scoring by Michael Redd (23), Scoonie Penn (16) and Jason Singleton (17) helped Ohio State (10-2) produce an 81-64 win over North Carolina State (8-3) at the Puerto Rico Holiday Classic. The Buckeyes face Mississippi in the championship game Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. eastern.%^$
Ohio State expanded a four-point halftime lead to a 17-point win in the second half outscoring North Carolina State 42-29. Singleton produced a game-high 10 rebounds while hitting all seven of his shots from the field.%^$
Adam Harrington had a team-high 18 points for North Carolina State with Keith Bean adding 14 and Ron Kelley 10.
