%^$ COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senior midfielder Becky Borchers (Dayton, Ohio) netted two goals and assisted on another, lifting Ohio State to a 5-1 victory over Arkansas on Senior Day at the OSU Sports Field Saturday. The Buckeyes finish the regular season 11-7-1 and the Razorbacks fall to 5-11 for the season. %^$
%^$Melanie Vierling (Fr., Cincinnati, Ohio) put the Bucks on the board in the 13th minute taking a feed from Borchers into the net. They play was set up by an Elisa Hamilton (Fr., Westerville, Ohio) throw-in. Hamilton also started the play that led to OSU’s second goal, flinging the ball to Courtney Nein (Fr., Middletown, Ohio) who tapped the ball to Borchers for the score. %^$
%^$Emily Thorpe (Fr., Cincinnati, Ohio) shot the ball from a peculiar angle in the 32nd minute, bending it just inside the right post to put OSU up 3-0. Borchers scored again just before the half for her second multiple-goal performance of the season. %^$
%^$Nikki Armento scored four minutes into the second half for the Razorbacks with a perfectly struck ball. In the middle of the field about 15 yards out, Armento chipped a ball high and to the right post that lodged in the upper corner of the net. %^$
%^$Katy Traeger (Jr., Littleton, Colo.) added a fifth goal in the 83rd minute, giving OSU a four-goal victory. %^$
%^$OSU’s opens the first round of the Big Ten tournament, Friday against Wisconsin at 1:30 p.m at University Park, Pa. %^$
