Women’s Crew Takes 12th at Head of Charles – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s crew team finished 12th in a field of 59 at the Head of the Charles regatta in Boston, Mass., Oct. 17. The Buckeyes finished seventh among the 42 collegiate boats in the field with a time of 16:54.36.
The Danish National team won the event at 15:44.66 followed by the Canadian National team at 15:50.28. The United States National squad took third with a time of 15:58.28.
Virginia was the fastest collegiate team, finishing fourth at 16:23.33. The Head of the Charles regatta is annually the world’s largest, attracting top national and collegiate squads from across the globe. Next for the Buckeyes will be the Princeton Chase regatta in Princeton, N.J. Saturday, Oct. 25.
