Men’s Basketball Tickets on Sale – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Season tickets for 17 home Ohio State men’s basketball games at the $105 million Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center are currently available.%^$
%^$Season tickets are priced at $180 and $150 depending on seat location. Individual game tickets are available for $12, $10 and $7. The DEADLINE for ordering season tickets is Oct. 23.%^$

%^$Ohio State head coach Jim O’Brien begins his second year at Ohio State with a team of seven returning players, including four starters, and seven newcomers.%^$
%^$Leading the returners is sophomore guard Michael Redd, the leading scorer in the Big Ten last season and a Basketball Times Freshman All-American. Redd was the first true freshman ever to lead the league in scoring.%^$
%^$Junior point guard James “Scoonie” Penn is expected to make an immediate impact on the Buckeyes after sitting out last year. The transfer from Boston College was the BIG EAST Rookie of the Year and took Boston College to the NCAA tournament in each of his two seasons with the Eagles.%^$
%^$The exhibition season gets underway at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 against the Worldwide All-Stars. The Buckeyes then play host to Marathon Basketball Club at 8 p.m. Nov. 9 in the final tune-up before the regular-season opener against Oakland University at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13.%^$
%^$Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center will be officially dedicated at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 against the University of Alabama. The Big Ten Conference opener will be part of a huge Ohio State sports weekend when Penn State comes to town for an 8 p.m. contest Fri., Nov. 20. That is the eve of the Ohio State vs. Michigan football game Nov. 21 in Columbus.%^$
%^$The Buckeyes will face 12 teams that played in postseason competition last season, five of those at home.%^$
