Men’s Tennis Players Capture Second Place Finishes – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio– Members of the Ohio State men’s tennis team completed action at the 2000 Wickertree Holiday Classic by capturing two second place finishes at the Wickertree Tennis Center. The members participated as individuals and had now contact with coaches throughout the event.
In the doubles championship, the No. 2 seeded team of Andrew Carlson (Sr., Gambrills, Md.) and Chris Porter (Sr., Canton, Ohio) fell to the No. 1 seeded team of Wynn Criswell and Matt Pledger, 4-6, 6-0, 6-2.
Adrian Bohane (Fr., West Palm Beach, Fla.), a recent OSU signee, withdrew from the finals of the singles championship giving No. 1 Ed Carter the victory. Bohane was the No. 4 seed in the tournament.
The Buckeye team will return to action Jan. 13-15 in the Big Ten Indoor Championships at Ann Arbor, Mich.
