Kerr, Roberts Named to Big Ten All-Freshman Team – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Devon Kerr and Sarah Roberts, members of the Ohio State women’s soccer team, have been named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team, the conference office announced Friday. In addition, sophomore Sydney Dudley was named the Buckeyes’ Big Ten sportsmanship award honoree.
Kerr, from Barrie, Ontario, was a unanimous selection after tallying a 0.67 goals-against average in 11 matches, including three starts. Her goals-against average ranks fifth in the Big Ten while she has tallied 33 saves and has posted a 4-0-1 record.
Roberts has been steady in the midfield for the Buckeyes, starting all 18 matches. The Aliso Viejo, Calif., native has tallied a goal and a pair of assists while playing the fifth-most minutes on the team.
No. 7 seed Ohio State travels to No. 2 seed Wisconsin for a 1 p.m. ET match in the Big Ten quarterfinals Sunday.
