Former Buckeye Brian Olinger Advances to Finals at USATF Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

DES MOINES, Iowa – Former Buckeye All-American Brian Olinger advanced to the finals of the 3000m steelpechase Friday evening at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Olinger finished fourth overall in a time of 8:43.60. Dan Huling of Reebok, who is coached by Ohio State head coach Robert Gary, finished first in a time of 8:40.85. They advance to Sunday’s finals at 12:50 p.m. CT.
Senior All-American Jeff See and former Buckeye and current volunteer assistant coach Rob Myers failed to advance in the opening round of the 1500m last night. See finished 24th overall in a time of 3:45.31 and Myers 27th (3:48.50).
