Biles Selected to the Ping Midwest All-Region Squad – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior men’s golfer Colin Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) was selected Ping All-Midwest Region by the Golf Coaches Association of America Wednesday.
Biles represented the Buckeyes at the 2006 NCAA Central Regional in Chardon, Ohio, earlier this month. He shot 224 to finish tied for 56th in the regional event.
Biles finished among the Top 20 individuals in seven tournaments during the season. He earned second team All-Big Ten honors in 2005-06 and led Ohio State in scoring average (73.5) and rounds played (40).
By making the Ping All-Midwest Region team, Biles becomes eligible for Ping All-America honors.
