Quoting Coach Vergote
“I thought our top three women handled themselves extremely well in what was arguably the most competitive collegiate race of the season next to nationals. Abby (Nichols) did a nice job up front and Lainey (Studebaker), Julia (Rizk) all did a great job working together. Freshman Allie Gaugenti also had a big day for us. We still some things we know we can fix and we can’t wait to host the Big Ten Championships Nov. 3.”
