Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State women’s soccer head coach Lori Walker will serve as color-analysts in Saturday’s WUSA women’s professional soccer national telecast between the Washington Freedom and the San Diego Spirit at 4 p.m. (EST) on PAX television network.
Walker, who has served as the Freedom’s color analyst for Comcast Sports Network in Maryland for the last two seasons, will broadcast her first national telecast as the two teams jockey for fourth place in the WUSA overall standings. Walker previously held the same position with the Madison Square Garden (MSG) network in 2001, calling games for the New York Power.
Walker also is in preparation for the upcoming Ohio State soccer season, as the Buckeyes will celebrate the program’s 10th anniversary during the 2003 season. Ohio State will hold a ceremony honoring those who have contributed to the decade of OSU women’s soccer at intermission of the home opener vs. Indiana State Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
