Kevin Burch, head coach of the Buckeyes, announced the hiring of Steven Duhoux as an assistant coach Feb. 24, 2025.

Duhoux joins the Buckeyes after two years with Arizona—helping the Wildcats go from an 8-23 record in 2023 to 24-9 record and a National Invitational Volleyball Championship in 2024.

Prior to his time in Tucson, he spent two seasons as a graduate assistant with Springfield College, playing a key role in helping the men's volleyball team achieve a 52-7 record across the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The Knights made it to the postseason both years, also making a run to the NCAA DIII National Championship game in 2022.

From 2018-21, Duhoux served as an assistant coach for the Orange Coast College men's volleyball team, leading the Pirates to a 58-9 record. Under his guidance, the Pirates made it to the CCCAA postseason in both 2018 and 2019.

Before joining Orange Coast College, Duhoux served as the head coach of the men's volleyball team at Balboa Bay Volleyball Club for 10 years. He also holds the position of Men's Volleyball Assistant Coach for the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program.

Duhoux is a Newport Beach, California, native. He earned his bachelor’s degree in human development and family resources from Hawai'i in 2018. He then went on to complete his master’s in athletic leadership from Springfield College in 2023.
