Sarah Takach joined The Ohio State University’s Performance Nutrition team in August 2024 as a Performance Dietitian. In her role, she manages the nutritional needs of Football, Women’s Rowing, and Fencing, ensuring that athletes receive tailored nutrition support to optimize their performance.
Before joining The Buckeyes, Sarah contributed to the success of Liberty University’s athletic programs. She began as a Football Nutrition Fellow during the inaugural Conference USA season, where she assisted in fueling the team to a remarkable 13-1 record. Her outstanding work led to her promotion as Assistant Sports Dietitian, where she oversaw the nutritional needs for the Baseball, Women’s Swimming and Diving, Women’s Soccer, and Women’s Lacrosse teams.
Sarah’s career in sports nutrition includes a season as a Sports Nutrition Associate with the St. Lucie Mets, the Low-A affiliate of the New York Mets, in 2022. She also served as a Sports Nutrition Fellow at Drexel University, where she further developed her expertise in supporting collegiate athletes.
A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Sarah was a dedicated athlete herself, competing for four years as part of the Western Athletic Conference Championship Swimming and Diving Team. She furthered her education at Northern Arizona, earning a Master of Public Health degree and her Registered Dietitian credential in 2021.
Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Sarah is passionate about cooking, exploring new recipes, traveling, staying active, and spending quality time with friends and family.
