The Ohio State women’s volleyball program and Head Coach Jen Flynn Oldenburg announced the addition of Michelle Bartsch-Hackley to the Buckeyes’ coaching staff on March 9, 2023. Bartsch-Hackley will serve as an assistant coach.
“I am thrilled to add Michelle Bartsch-Hackley to our staff,” Oldenburg said. “Her knowledge of the game, experience and success at the highest level will have an immediate impact on our program.”
“I’m really excited to be joining the coaching staff and to be a part of a program that I have grown to love from afar,” Bartsch-Hackley said. “I’m grateful for this opportunity and want to thank everyone who has welcomed me to Ohio State.”

She was named to the AVCA All-Region Team, CSC Academic All-American Second Team and was a unanimous choice for All-Big Ten First Team. Rader was named All-Big Ten Second Team despite missing the last few weeks of the season. Mia Tuman started most of the season at setter, despite being a freshman, and moved up to 19th in program history in career assists after ranking fifth in the Big Ten in assists/set (9.53) during the season. The Buckeyes had seven named Academic All-Big Ten following the conclusion of the season.
