Michaela Nordhaus

A native of Ottawa, Ohio. Nordhaus walked on to the novice rowing team at Ohio State as a freshman in 2017-18 having never participated in the sport before, but with many years of swimming experience. That same year Ohio State swept all the events and won the Big Ten Championship. Nordhaus raced with the 2V8 as a sophomore placing second at the Big Ten Championships and fifth at the NCAA Championships. Nordhaus finished her career in the 1V4 and as a senior and placed second at the Big Ten Championships and fifth in the Grand Final at NCAAs..
In 2021, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduating from OSU, Nordhaus joined the Indiana University Rowing staff as the novice coach for two years before returning to Ohio State.
