Kendall Merriett joined the Ohio State Athletics Communications staff in July 2026, where she works as the primary contact for men’s tennis, men’s and women’s track & field, artistic swimming and is the tertiary contact for football.

Prior to joining the Buckeyes, Merriett worked as an Athletic Communications Intern at the University of Florida for the 2025-26 year. There she served as the primary contact for men’s tennis and was the temporary primary contact for the women's tennis, women's volleyball and swimming and diving programs at various points in the year. She also served as the secondary contact for women’s basketball and softball, while also working with football, women’s gymnastics and baseball.

Merriett is a 2024 graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Mass Communications. During her time as a student, Merriett worked as a writing intern for Florida Athletics, covering the 2023 football and 2024 women’s gymnastics and baseball seasons.
