Katie Welsh

Associate Director

Currently serves as an Associate Director within the Student Athlete Services Office. Educational Background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Carson Newman University and a Master's in Science for Sport and Recreation from the University of Western Kentucky. One of the best parts of her job is "Assisting Student-Athletes achieve their goals, even the littlest ones" and her favorite quote is from the movie Blindside, "Get to know your players Bert..." Welsh's hometown is Toledo, Ohio and she resides in Dublin with her two children.

Previous Professional Experience: Head Volleyball Coach and Sports Information Director at Columbia College, SC from 2012-14. Volunteer Assistant Coach and Community Relations Ohio State Women’s Volleyball 2014-2016. Professional Tutor within SASSO 2017-2019. Senior Learning Specialist with SASSO 2019-2021. Assistant Director within SASSO from 2021- 2023.
