Title:
Sport Science Analyst

Jason Reese was a scholarship student-athlete at Auburn University on the Track and Field team, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Health.

During his time at Auburn, he served as team captain for two seasons and represented the track team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for two years. After graduating, Reese returned to South Florida and pursued a Master of Science in Exercise Science, where he developed a strong foundation in performance analysis and data-driven training methodologies.

His work in this area led to an opportunity with University of Miami. At Miami, Reese served as a Sport Science Data Specialist, working closely with the football and track and field programs. In this role, he was responsible for data science and analytics, as well as providing actionable insights to coaching staff.

Reese's contributions supported daily operations and informed training decisions. He specializes in force production analysis, resisted sprint training, and data visualization, helping translate complex data into meaningful performance insights. He also applies predictive analytics to forecast training outcomes and support decision-making processes.

Reese joined The Ohio State University as a Sport Science Analyst in February 2026. In addition, he leads the Performance Education Initiative, a student-athlete development program designed to promote ownership and understanding of performance.
