Cristina Sierra joined Ohio State University’s Performance Nutrition team in June of 2025 as an Assistant Performance Dietitian. Cristy manages the nutrition needs of Men’s Basketball, Softball, Women’s Lacrosse, and Cheer.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2022 from Florida State University and continued on to earn her Masters of Dietetics and Nutrition (MDN) from Ohio State in May 2025.
From 2022 to 2023, Cristy worked as a performance nutrition intern for the University of Miami’s football team. There she gained valuable experience in the field of collegiate football through managing the fueling station and assisting football dietitians in fueling the team. Throughout her time in graduate school, Cristy also served as a sports nutrition graduate student with The Ohio State athletics, working closely with a variety of teams including the football team.
Cristy is from Miami, Florida.
