Chanel Cross became a member of the Ohio State athletic training staff in 2023 working with Sean Jones as the assistant athletic trainer with Track and Field/Cross Country.

Prior to being on staff with the Buckeyes, Chanel completed a 2.5-year internship with the University of Florida from 2021-2023 working primarily with the track and field/cross country team. She earned her master’s degree in Sport’s Management with a concentration in athlete performance from the University of Florida.

While at the University of Florida, Chanel worked with dozens of NCAA and collegiate record holding athletes. Her teams won 3 national titles and 1 conference title. Chanel is a 2020 graduate of Ohio State University where she completed her undergraduate degree in athletic training. Chanel is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio.
