• She was the 2019 Florida Class 4A state champion in the triple jump with a leap of 38-11.
• With that title, Amaya became the first individual state champion in Windermere H.S. history.
• Also finished sixth in the long jump, fourth in the high jump and eighth in the 300-meter hurdles at that 2019 state meet.
