- Notched win in first collegiate singles match, defeating Northwestern’s Hannah McColgan Jan. 16 at the Michigan Invitational

- Competed in two doubles matches at Michigan Invite, with a win over Wisconsin Jan. 18 with Madeline Atway

- Ranked No. 1 in India in 14U and 16U
- Represented India in 2018 Junior Fed Cup

- Road To Wimbledon finalist in 2016
- Reached high of No. 262 in ITF junior rankings
- Won eight ITF junior titles
- Was a swimmer before playing junior tennis and won a national gold medal in the 50 meter breaststroke

- Daughter of Suresh Kalita and Ruby Talukdar Kalita
- Has a younger brother, Yuvraj
- Plans to major in psychology and would like to earn a master’s in sports psychology to help others and young athletes pursue their goals
- Loves to draw, paint and cook Indian dishes and spend time with her family
