- Placed ninth in the 1650 free at the NCAA Championships
- At the Big Ten Championships, medaled in the 500 free with a third-place finish
- Finished fourth in the 1650 free at the conference championships
2020-21 (Freshman)
- Competed in all three regular season meets for the Buckeyes
- Finished fifth (16:13.58) in the 1650 at the Big Ten Championship
- Earned All-America honors in the 1650 with a 14th-place finish (16:11.97)
Prior to Ohio State
- Maya was a four-time OHSAA state championships qualifier and finalist while competing for Dublin Jerome High School.
- Finished third at the 2020 state championships in the 500 freestyle and she was sixth in the 200 free.
- She was the state 500 freestyle runner-up as a junior.
- Also finished 12th in the 200 free as a junior and was ninth as a sophomore.
