- Has an older brother, John, and an older sister, Alex
- Earned undergraduate degree in animal science from Cornell; worked with many different animals through internships and classes including dogs, cats, cows, pigs, horses, tigers, bears, wolves, snow leopards and red pandas
- Enrolled in graduate school for sport management
- Hopes to work in sports administration in a collegiate athletics department
- Enjoys watching and following other sports, fishing, walking her dogs and coaching youth lacrosse
- Got into lacrosse by going to her older sister’s practices when she was too young to start; would do drills alone on the side until one day the coach said she could join the team
