Suited up for all 37 games in her second season with Ohio State… tallied a career-best six assists… had first multi-point performance of career Jan. 3 against Penn State… put 15 shots on goal… finished the season with a +8 on-ice rating… credited with 28 blocked shots.
2012-13 (Redshirt Sophomore Season)
In her first season as a Buckeye she saw the ice in 35 contests… scored her first career goal against Minnesota Feb. 9… tallied an assist Jan. 12 at Wisconsin… was credited with 32 blocked shots.
Prior to Ohio State
Spent three years at Quinnipiac University … as a freshman she used a redshirt in 2009-10… saw action in three games during 2010-11 season… suited up for 16 games for the Bobcats during the 2011-12 season… prior to Quinnipiac she helped the Chicago Mission to a Tier I Elite MWHL State Championship and a 3rd place national finish … attended Marist High School where she won a varsity tennis regional championship.
Personal
Daughter of Dave and Kelly Gust … has two older sisters, Dana and Jena, and a younger brother, David … brother David plays on the Ohio State men[apos]s hockey team… her father played football at Northern Illinois University … sister, Dana, played volleyball at Saint Joseph[apos]s College.
