2016-17: Played in all 37 games during her senior season, during which she served as a team captain … had two goals and an assist, all of which came in Ohio State victories … scored her first goal of the season in the 6-0 win at Penn State on Jan. 7 … scored in her final game at OSU Ice Rink in the 4-2 win over Minnesota State on Senior day, Feb. 11 … her assist came in the 3-0 win over Lindenwood on Nov. 5 … had 19 shots on goal this season, recording multiple shots in five games … had a season-high three shots on Jan. 7 at Penn State and Feb. 11 against Minnesota State, the two games in which she scored a goal … also had multiple shots on Sept. 30 at RPI and Dec. 2 against North Dakota … was a season-best +2 in Ohio State’s 3-1 win at Bemidji State on Oct. 14 … blocked 13 shots
2015-16: Appeared in all 36 games … tallied an assist in the season-opening 5-1 win at Lindenwood … added an assist against Minnesota State on Oct. 23 … had a season-high three shots at Bemidji State on Feb. 13.
2014-15: Played in six games during her sophomore season… notched the first multi-goal game of her career against Minnesota State on Nov. 7, including the game-winner.
2013-14: Suited up for 21 games during rookie campaign… recorded a goal and assist on the season… first-career score came Nov. 9 vs. Bemidji State… tallied first assist in win at St. Cloud State Jan. 31… put three shots on goal… credited with three blocked shots.
Prior to Ohio State: Grant was a defenseman for the Toronto Junior Aeros of the PWHL for three seasons… she helped lead the Aeros team to regular season and playoff championships during the 2011-12 season when she served as captain… she participated at the 2012 Team Canada U18 Strength and Conditioning and Selection Camp as well as the 2012 Team Ontario Final Selection Camp… she played ten years for the New Liskeard Puckhounds program prior to playing for the Aeros… as a figure skater Grant was a quadruple gold medalist at Skate Canada in 2008-09.
Personal: Daughter of Tracy and Gord… her father Gord played collegiate hockey at Michigan Tech, as did two of her uncles… has two siblings, Vanessa and Teagan… participated in track and field (200m sprints), basketball and prep hockey at PEAC School for Elite Athletes, where she was an honor student… other hobbies include music and wake surfing… lists being invited to Team Canada main camp in Calgary as her greatest sports thrill.
