Q: Why did you change your major to English with creative writing during the offseason?
A: I changed it because I felt that journalism wasn't what I wanted to do. I wanted to do more story writing, and I felt like switching it would be more beneficial for me. I like the whole creative process of coming up with the story, characters and setting. I've always been interested in reading books and movies too, just storytelling in general.
Q: How was it growing up in an athletic family?
A: We were definitely very competitive. Growing up, we all played basketball, so we all worked out against each other with my dad, training all the time. It's definitely very competitive, but it was very beneficial for all of us to see where we are now.
Q: How do you think you’ve grown since coming to Ohio State and what are your goals for your time here?
A: I feel that I'm more comfortable on the court now, especially coming back from the injury. I'm more comfortable and I’m confident in what I can do. My goals are just to keep getting better every day.
