SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018)
• Helped the 3V8 to a sweep of Yale and Harvard in the season-opening regatta
• Member of the 2V4 boat that defeated both Virginia and Clemson in the first home regatta of the season
• Helped the 2V4 to extend its undefeated recorded to 7-0 in races with wins three wins in races at the Clemson Invitational
• Recorded a time of 7:26.0 with the 2V4 to defeat Notre Dame and Duke in the final home regatta of the season
• Helped the 3V4 to a time of 7:28.402 for a first-place finish at the 2018 Big Ten Championships
• Named a 2018 Academic All-Big Ten honoree and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017)
• Helped the 3V4 to a win over Michigan in the first regatta of the season with a time of 7:37.63
• Member of the 2V4 boat that earned a 7:22.9 time to defeat then-ranked No. 3 Michigan, a finish that would earn the boat its first Big Ten Boat of the Week nod
• Helped the 1V4 to victory at the Clemson Invite with a time of 7:18.5 to earn Ohio State 22 points towards the team’s overall second place finish
• Part of the 1V4 boat that finished second at the 2017 Big Ten Championship.
Prior to Ohio State:
• Attended Campbell Collegiate High School
• Rowed for four years with Regina Row
Personal:
• Daughter of Cherie and Derrick Massier
• Has one sister, Alexandra, who played water polo at California State Long Beach
• Hobbies include reading, going to the movies, napping, and Face Timing her family
• Following graduation she plans to attend graduate school to earn a Master’s in Audiology and go on to obtain a doctorate in Audiology before returning to Canada to work
• Her greatest sports thrill was at her first World’s experience in 2015 where she made it to the A final, which was the first time Canada had made the A final in that boat.
