- Finished 10th in the shot put (13.52m) at Louisville, also competing in the weight throw (15.83m)
- Competed in the weight throw (15.93m) and shot put (13.09m) at Louisville
- Competed in the hammer throw (48.02m) and shot put (13.34m) at the Big Ten Championships
- Finished fifth in the shot put at the Jesse Owens Classic (14.26m)
- Finished ninth in the shot put at Louisville (13.12m)
- Competed in the hammer throw at five meets during the regular season – Jesse Owens Classic (48.35m), USF (47.28m), Louisville (46.42m), Raleigh Relays (45.94m) and Florida (44.75m)
