- Reached the quarterfinals of the boys 16s in singles at Kalamazoo and was a two-time boys 18 L2 champion
- Began playing tennis at the age of five at the Des Moines Golf and Country Club.
- In 2019, he began training at the Tucker Tennis Academy in Tulsa, Okla., where he was coached by Alex Scott, Idris Smith and Tomas Stillman
